Roberta Lillian Phillips, 93, of Vincennes, passed away at 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, 2015 while in hospice care in San Antonio, Texas.She was born on Sept. 18, 1921 in Vincennes to Oliver James and Lillie (Steeber) Pruitt. Roberta formerly worked at the Brown Shoe Factory and retired from Hamilton Glass Co.Surviving are her grandchildren, Cheryl Wright and Natalie Wright of San Antonio and Greg Wright of Alpine, Texas; her great-grandchildren Kevin, Kristen and Tiffany Denning of San Antonio and Ava and Sara Wright of Alpine; and great-great-grandchildren Matthew and Cameron Denning of San Antonio and Mackenzie and Jade Nichols, all of San Antonio.Preceding her in death were her parents, Oliver James Pruitt and Lillie Steeber Pruitt; five brothers Edwin, Curtis, Cletus, Robert and Alvin; her husband, Harley Lee Phillips; and her daughter, Janet Kay Wright OakesGraveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Cemetery.Online condolences may be made at http://www.goodwinfamilyfh.com or http://www.colonialuniversal.com.
