Roger Blandin

Roger E. Blandin, 66, 6607 E. Red Rd., Vincennes, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at his residence. Born October 27, 1944, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Robert L. and Helen (Taylor) Blandin.Roger had worked as manager for Standard Food Stores, Del Farms, & E. Bierhaus and Sons and had worked at Wal-Mart as Produce Manager. After retirement he was employed as the receiving manager for Lowe's. He was an avid golfer and member of Vincennes Golf Club. Roger was a dedicated family man and served his country in the United States Air Force.Survivors include his wife, Sandy (Hinton) Blandin of Vincennes; daughters, Tiffany Trusty and her husband Micah of Indianapolis and Nicole Wheeler of Evansville and one brother.Preceding Roger in death were his parents.A celebration of Roger's life service will be held Tuesday, July 26 at Vincennes Golf Club, 1364 N.
