Ronald Bond

Ronald Kent Bond, 73, passed away at 2:32 am on October 6, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ronnie was born on September 7, 1948 in Vincennes the son of Lester and Olive (Alderson) Bond. He married Sharon Nidey in 1969 and she preceded him in death. He then married Cynthia Palmer on August 26, 2003. Ronnie served his country in the United States Army and was a dedicated mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for over forty years. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion. And the 40 et 8. He also was a loyal St. Louis Cardinal fan. Survivors include his wife, Cindi Bond of Vincennes; daughters, Kim Helderman and her husband Tim of Vincennes, Olivia Lunsford and her husband Chris of Vincennes, Leslie Moore of Vincennes; son, Jeff Bond of Vincennes; step-sons, Dan Evans of Vincennes, Chris Jenkins and his wife Mindy of Vincennes; brothers, James Bond and his wife Lorna of Vincennes, Billy VanLue of Missouri; Brucie VanLue and his wife Inie of Vincennes; sister Pam Goldman and her husband Dale of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Tori, Haylee, London, Katie, Chris, Jayda, Macey, and Aubri. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Bond, and Olive VanLue, his step-father Bruce VanLue, his first wife Sharon Bond, brother, Kenneth Bond, sister, Eva Carie, brother, Danny Bond, sister, Doris Partridge, and his grandson, Johnathon Kent Bond. Friends may visit with Ronnie's family from 11 am until 1 pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes. A graveside service for Ronnie will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 919 Willow St., Vincennes, IN.
