Ronald Glugla

Ronald George Glugla, 81, passed away at 9:02 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ron was born on March 22, 1935 in Chicago, IL the son of Max and Alma (Erlich) Glugla. He married Catherine Duffy on July 1, 1961. Ron was a draftsman working for M.H. Detrick in Chicago for forty-eight years. He enjoyed golfing and going to the casino. Survivors include his wife Catherine Glugla of Vincennes; daughter, Deb Nowakowski and her husband Wally of Vincennes; son, Bob Glugla and his wife Vicki of St. Peters, MO; sister, Shirley Vanderhorst of Chicago; grandchildren, Jordan and Haley Nowakowski, and Allison and Nathan Glugla. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters and two brothers.Funeral services for Ron will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Ron's family on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
