Ronald Junkin

Ronald "R.L." Junkin, 80, of Vincennes, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Lakeland, FL.He was born January 26, 1940 in Vincennes, Indiana to Jacob James and Helen (White) Junkin.R.L. was a self employed truck driver and enjoyed working on old tractors. R.L. was a member of the French Club, 41 South Club, Moose, Masonic Lodge, Hadi Temple, and Knox County Shrine Club.Surviving are his nieces an nephews Terri Utt of Vincennes, Jacob Junkin of Vincennes, John Junkin of Wheatland, James Junkin of Vincennes, Steve Marchino of Huntingburg, Tom "Tommy" Marchino of Vincennes, Sue Harmon of Indianapolis, and Kathy Cochran of Bridgeport, IL, a stepson Mike Racey, sister in-laws Charlotte Faye Junkin of Vincennes, and Zola Faye Junkin of Vincennes; along with several great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Jacquelyn Sue "Jackie" Hill Junkin who preceded him on August 21, 2000; his brothers Lester Junkin and James R. Junkin; a sister Helen F. Marchino and her husband Charles Tom; and a nephew David Marchino.Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, January 4, 2021 at Wheatland Cemetery with Brent Cramer officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until 2:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ronald R.L. Junkin.
