Ronald Pegram

Ronald Eugene Pegram passed away from this life on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the age of 88. He was born on September 1, 1934, in Princeton, Indiana and was a 1952 graduate of Owensville High School. Ronald was in the Naval Reserve for two years following high school. He returned home to farm with his father on the family farm and later assumed ownership of the farm after the passing of his father. Ronald married Janice Price of Poseyville, Indiana, on March 2, 1958, Janice passed away on October 13, 1999. Ronald loved his family very much. Farming was his favorite thing to do! He sold seed corn to local farmers and earned several great trips. He loved the outdoors and will be deeply missed by all! Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Winfred and Carol Key Pegram. Ronald is survived by his children, Jana Lynn (Ned) Pirtle, of Lafayette, Louisiana, son Jeffery Eugene Pegram (Paula Morgan), of Owensville, Indiana, brothers Richard "Dick" (Sandy) Pegram of St. Johns Florida, Phillip (Jill) Pegram of Carmel, Indiana, grandson Kyle (Gabriele) Pirtle and great granddaughter Evelyn Rose Pirtle, of Lafayette Louisiana, and one niece and three nephews. Private graveside services celebrating the life of Ronald Eugene Pegram will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Owensville Cemetery in Owensville, Indiana.
