Ronald Dean Phillips, 68, of 333 W. New Albany, Vincennes, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born June 17, 1944 in Vincennes to William "Wig" Phillips and L. Della (Riggle) Steelman.Ron owned and operated A1 Phillips Septic and Sewer service. An Army veteran, he loved hunting and fishing the river with his nets.Surviving are 7 children, Lisa Phillips of Vincennes, Ricky Phillips of Vincennes, Rodney and Marie Phillips of Washington, Linda Risley of Vincennes, Kevin Phillips of Vincennes, Kelly Phillips of Vincennes, and Stacey Phillips of Vincennes; a sister, Bertha Ann and Bill Robinson of Indianapolis, 19 grandchildren, and 9 Great grandchildren and Daisy the dog.Ron was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Byron Phillips, and a grandson, Jacob Shreve.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. March 4, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev.
