Rosa Lucille "Minnie" Jeffris, 97, of 1283 S. Miller Avenue, Vincennes, passed away at 2:06am on April 17th, 2011 at her residence.She was born May 25, 1913 in Knox County, Indiana to David Franklin & Sara Jane (Smith) Royal. A homemaker, she loved going to bingo, and to singles dances with her blue jeans and cowboy boots. The highlight of her life was all her kids and family and many kids not related and still hers. She was a member of the VFW, Moose, Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion.Minnie is survived by her sister in law, Hazel Fisher-Garr and daughter in law Shirley Jeffris, grandchildren, Vicki and Ken Elkins, Penny Adams, Charles Ikemire Jr., Debbie & Bill Donnoe, Rick Jeffris, Kelly Jeffris and Jim Byerly, Rita and Todd Smith, Pamela K. Leffler and Doug Gaultney, Randy Ikemire, Ronnie Ikemire I, Rusty and Netta Jeffris, and Dennis Jeffris, great grandchildren include April Johnson and Jeffri Elkins, Michael Hartzburg Jr., Misti and Jason Hill, Mackala and McKrenda Adams, Jacory Leffler & Destiny Morrison, Amber, Charlie, & Charles Allen Ikemire, Brady & Braxton Ikemire, Jaimee Robinson & CD Dunlap, MacKenzie & Ricky T. Jeffris, Tyler Jeffris, Kristi Elkins & Chris Holzemer, Jarrod Hartzburg & Reba Petelle, Cody Edgin & Samantha Junkin, Jeremy & Marisa Miley, Jayde Leffler and Nadene Cross, Ronnie Dee Ikemire II and Heather Gilliatte, Jeffrey Sanner, Josh & Sara Donnoe, Dennis & Lisa Jeffris, Dalton Richardson and Zoe Jeffris Blaize. Also surviving are her great-great-grandchildren, Jonas Baugh, Swade Brown, Clayton , Jayden, Jordan, and Shayln Hill, Emmma Leffler, Cassidy Risley, Maggie & Landon Onkin, Brendon and Conner Hartzburg, Mariah Dunlap, Jayvn Leffler, Mia and Katie Jeffris, Jackson Miley, Landon Ikemire, Janalyn and Breanna Robinson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Jeff" Jeffris Sr., a daughter, Mildred "Midge" Ikemire, and a son, Harold "Jeff" Jeffris Jr.Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 Wednesday at the funeral home.
