Rosalie Ann Fleck, 75, passed away at 1:28 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2013.Rosalie was born on January 10, 1938 the daughter of Harry Bailey and Anita Stafford. She married Robert E. Fleck on February 26, 1956 who preceded her in death in 1987.Rosalie was an employee of the Knox County Library for thirty-two years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and a group of special friends. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, stamp collecting and IU basketball. Rosalie was also a member of the Extension Homemakers Club. Survivors include her daughters, Kyla J. Newton and her husband, Dennis of Vincennes; Karen L. Kirchoff and her husband, Victor of Vincennes; Lauren S. Sievers and her husband, Andy of Mahomet, IL; Lisa K. Monson and her husband, Pat of Danville, IL; Grandchildren, Dustin Newton and his wife Brooke, Kristin Chattin and her husband, Jarrod, Kendra Claycomb and her husband, Nick, Jonathan and Natalie Kirchoff, Andrew and Suzannah Sievers, Brendan Reed and his wife Kayla, Brianna Reed; great grandchildren, Alyssa and Kara Chattin, Eva Claycomb and Jaxson Newton; brother, Ron Bailey of Sula, Montana; sister, Brenda Bailey of Oakland, California and brother James Bailey of Eugene, Oregon. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Bailey, Ruby Bailey and Anita Stafford, husband, Robert E. Fleck and one great granddaughter. Funeral services for Rosalie will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, with Rev. Cheryl Garbe officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Indiana Church Cemetery. 5 Friends may visit with Rosalie's family on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Knox County Public Library for the purchase of new books in Rosalie's name. Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com.
