Roscoe Todd Sr

Roscoe Todd Sr., 95, of Vincennes, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 8:20pm on Friday, January 10, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on April 5, 1929, to the late Frank Maurice & Oma Sullivan Todd in Vincennes, IN. On October 27, 1962, he married the love of his life, Carol (Robb) Todd, and they spent over forty years together happily married before her passing on April 22, 2010.

Roscoe started working as a young man for Ivers Brothers Tree Trimming in Vincennes. A few short years later, he started his own company, Roscoe Todd's Tree Service, and he dedicated over 60 years to serving Knox County and many bordering counties with quality, top notch tree service. Roscoe thouroughly enjoyed working, and he did a lot of it during his 95 years on earth. On the rare occasion he wasn't working, he could be often found fishing.

Survivors of Roscoe include his children, Ozeta Barwick and her husband Dale of Washington, IN, Penny Wood and her husband Jeff of Vincennes, and Roscoe Todd Jr., and his wife Tammy of Vincennes; his siblings, Frankie Fraker of FL, Joe Todd of Vincennes, IN, Sarah Henry of Sullivan, IN, Donna Evans of FL, Dorothy "Dottie" Shappard of FL, and Paul Todd of FL; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Oma; his beloved wife, Carol Todd; his son, Jeff Todd; his daughters, Amy and Phyllis Todd; and his siblings, infant Frank Maurice Todd Jr, infant Bobby Louis, Ruth Janet, and Levita Jean.

A graveside service for Roscoe will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2:30pm ET at Memorial Park Cemetery 919 Willow St., Vincennes, IN 47591 with Bryce Anderson officiating.
