Ross Darkis

Ross Alan Darkis, 42, passed away on April 29, 2013. Ross was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on October 2, 1970 the son of Dan and Renee (McCammon) Darkis. Ross served his country in The United States Army and was an Occupational Therapist Assistant at Good Samaritan Hospital. He really liked being outdoors, hunting and riding his four wheeler. Ross loved his dog Daisy and enjoyed the walks he had with her. Ross really took pride in his job. He used to enjoy riding and working on his Harley as well as cars, and enjoyed lifting weights at the YMCA. Survivors include his mother and father, Dan and Renee Darkis of Livingston, TX; daughter, Magan Darkis of Three Forks, Montana; sister, Marge Phegley of Vincennes; nieces, Charlie Sue Phegley-Tislow and Andrea Phegley of Vincennes. Ross was preceded in death by step-son's Adam and Allen Hull. Funeral services for Ross will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway.
