Roy Fisher

Roy C. Fisher, 82, of Vincennes, passed away May 18, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born Jan. 13, 1931, in Lawrence County, Illinois, he was the son of Willard and Martha (Timms) Fisher. Along with his parents, he was preceded by his first wife, Darlene (Whitson) Fisher; his third wife, Margaret (Black) Fisher; a sister, Mary Jane Brown; and his brothers, Carl, Herman, and Lyman. Survivors include his second wife, Dorothy Dean of Olney, IL; children, James (Ona) Fisher of Fishers, IN, Karen (Robert) McBride of Plainville, IN, and Linda (Jeff) Davis of Ft. Meyers, FL; a brother, Thomas (Lois) Fisher of Vincennes; and his grandchildren, Max Fisher, Zac Fisher, Ross McBride, Greg McBride, and Samantha Davis. Roy was a truck driver, and a member of the Vincennes VFW. A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 1:00 EDT, at Price Cemetery in Russellville, IL.
