Rudianne Thomas, 61, of Vincennes, passed away June 22, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN from methicillin sensitive staphylococcus aureus complicated by acute respiratory distress syndrome.Rudianne was a physician, working in emergency care medicine in western Kentucky. She was a member of the Hopkinsville First Christian Church. A successful competitive swimmer, Rudianne also played trombone through college, and continued playing in church music ensembles. University of Louisville sports were a passion of hers, and she also enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and raising West Highland Terriers.Born October 4, 1955 in Hopkinsville, KY, she was the daughter of James "Rudy" and Bobbie Sue (Henderson) Thomas. Surviving are her children, Allie Fannin and her husband, Chase, of Vincennes, and Rudy Stiltner and his wife, Rebecca, of Mayfield, KY; sisters, Deborah Johannes and Melodie Thomas, both of Tennessee, and Valerie Majors of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Arya Fannin, Lyriel Fannin, Ryan Stiltner, Duncan Thomas, Abigail Stiltner; and her two westies, Kujo and Fitbit.A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
