Ruth Antey

Ruth Irene Antey, 66, Passed away at 3:23 pm on March 20, 2023at her residence. Ruth was born on September 29, 1956, in Lafayette IN. and is the daughter of Bill and Georgia (Clevenger) Reeves. Ruth went to Owensville High School and lived a full life doing exciting activities, from cub scout leader in the 70's, coaching little league baseball, to fishing and camping, adult coloring books, loved unicorns, collecting sapphires and going dancing with Robert. Ruth was a quality inspector with Product Action and Pic group for a total of 5 years, later becoming part ownership in a painting company with late husband Robert J. Antey. Ruth is survived by sons; Michael Wright, Tommy Wright and wife Sesala (C.C.), 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband John V. Wright of 22 years, 2nd husband Robert J. Antey and sisters; Audrey Reeves and Jenny Wright. Holder Funeral Home is honored and entrusted with the care of Mrs. Antey. Friends may visit with Ruth's family from 12:00pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday March 25, 2023, at First Christian Church of Owensville IN. 47665. A funeral service will begin 2pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023, with Pastor Bart Newton officiating with burial at Owensville Cemetery following immediately.
