Ruth Hendricks

Ruth Hendricks, 83, Vincennes, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.She was born December 3, 1935 in Vincennes, Indiana to Allen and Anna (Hawkins) Fisher.Ruth was a homemaker and loved organizing and cooking the family holiday dinners. She attended the Ridgecrest Baptist Church for many years.Surviving are her husband, Gerald Hendricks, whom she married August 3, 1955; her sons, Ron Hendricks and his wife Vickie of Vincennes, Rick Hendricks of Vincennes, and Brent Hendricks and his fianc Motoko Walker of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Ron Hendricks Jr. Amanda Traxler, Mindy Mennel, Lindsey Hendricks, and Ashley Hendricks; along with 11 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; along with five sisters and one brother.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, May 3, 2019 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Pastor Walker Hatton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
