Ruth Pool

Ruth Evelyn Pool, 90, of 103 Wilbur, Vincennes, passed away at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 30, 1922 in Sullivan County to Russell and Plumie (Prose) Phegley.Ruth enjoyed being a homemaker.Surviving are her children, Judy Johnson of Vincennes, Russell Pool and his wife, Mary of Vincennes, and Jackie Booth and her husband, Ken of Vincennes; a sister, Carolyn McKinley of Sullivan; five grandchildren, Kelly Campton, Dee Sears, Rusty Pool, Jessica Walls, and Mallory MarcAurele, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfred Lex Pool, whom she married October 20, 1940 and preceded her on August 20, 1988, along with five brothers and sisters.Graveside services will be held at Noon Tuesday June 25, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Billy Sam Phegley officiating.
