Samuel Ray Moore Jr.

Samuel Ray Moore Jr., 47, of Washington, IN passed away on October 3, 2023. He was born in Hartford, KY to Samuel Moore Sr. and Betty Lou Brashars. Samuel attended Washington High School. He worked in the maintenance department at Futaba for the last 6 years. In his free time, Samuel enjoyed fishing, tinkering on vehicles, playing cards, carpenter work, and playing video games. He was a very hard worker and a jack of all trades. Samuel will be deeply missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother Dudley Moore.

Samuel is survived by his dog Bo; mother Betty Brashars; girlfriend Bambi Jones; siblings Thomas Clark Sr., David Allen Clark Jr., Dlsia (Kerry) Williams, Frank (Kimberly) Clark, Paul (Lisa) Clark, Gregory (Sandra) Clark, Amber Calvina Rose (Sheryl) Coin; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Moore. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 2020 State St. from 2-6pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, at 1pm with burial at Mt. Gilead Cemetery immediately following.
