Sandra Haaff

Sandra "Sandy" S. Haaff, 72, of Bruceville, Indiana, passed away June 30, 2020, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Sandy enjoyed having a good time. She is remembered for her Elvis impersonations, and loved to be with her family. An avid racing fan, she liked NASCAR and drag racing. For many years she bowled, and once bowled a perfect 300. She loved animals, and often adopted the neighborhood strays. The Chicago Cubs were her favorite baseball team. For many years, she worked as an accounting clerk at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born December 12, 1947, in Vincennes, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harold and Avis (Benjamin) Hodge. Her parents; her husband, James "Jim" C. Haaff; and her grandchildren, Ethan J. Street and Robert Curtis Street, preceded her. Surviving are her daughters, Lori Street and her husband, Chip, of Bruceville, IN, and Kristi Kocher and her husband, Gary, of Lawrenceville, IL; her sisters, Norreta Gray and her husband, John, of Sumner, IL, and Kathryn Lemeron and her husband, Nelson, of Flat Rock, IL; and her brother, Jim Hodge and his wife, Rita, of Grayslake, IL. Friends may visit with Sandy's family from 3:00 - 5:00 (EDT) on Sunday, at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. There will be no other public services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund at Riley Children's Hospital, or the Vincennes Pet Port.
