Sandra Russell

Sandra "Sandy" K. Russell, 72, of Vincennes, passed away Dec. 21, 2014, at her home. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Highway Church of God in Lawrenceville, IN. Born Aug. 4, 1942, in Sheppard Field, Texas, she was the daughter of Russell and Louise (Linton) Tewell. Her parents; a nephew, Shane West; and a grandson, Justin Gher, preceded her. Surviving is her husband, Ronald W. Russell; her daughter, Mindy Gher, and her husband, Paul, of Lawrenceville, IL; her step-daughter, Deborah Russell - Newell, and her husband, Michael, of Lawrenceville, IL; and a step-son, Robert Russell of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Jarod Gher, Lexa Gher, Ashley Russell, Robert Russell Weaver, and Michael Russell; a great-granddaughter, Leah Kay Gher; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Russell, Jo Ellen Russell, Kim McClure, Denny R. Russell, Jr., and Misty McNeely. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, from 10:00 - 12:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. The funeral will follow at 12:00, at the funeral home.
