Sara Elizabeth Thompson, 93, Vincennes, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Lodge of the Wabash.She was born February 18, 1920 in Versailles, Kentucky to Lud and Mamie (Goforth) Cornish.Sara attended the Salvation Army.Surviving is her daughter, Tina Thompson-Cockerham of Eight Mile, Al; a granddaughter, Rachelle (Danny) Carver, and two great grandchildren, Kayden and Kendrick Carter.She was preceded in death by her parents, Lud Cornish, and Mamie Bailey, and her husband, George Thompson, Jr.Graveside services in Memorial Park Cemetery will be conducted Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Major Tim Wilson officiating.
