Sarah Malcolm

Sarah Belle Malcolm, 88, passed away at 11:53 am on February 17, 2021 at UF Health Villages Hospital in The Villages, FL with Billy Harper and Melanie Vachon by her side keeping her in comfort and love. Sarah was born on December 20, 1932 in Allendale, IL the daughter of John and Mabel Pearl (Weese) White. She married James Edward Malcolm on December 21, 1951 and he preceded her in death on November 16, 2014.Sarah was a Nurses Aid at Crestview Nursing Home for many years. She was also a member of Vincennes Free Methodist Church and was baptized by Pastor Irwin Bales on May 3rd, 2020 in the presence of God and family.Survivors include her children, Janet Fleeger and her husband Bob of Newburgh, IN, Karen Harper and her husband Nofel Jr. of Vincennes; siblings, Evelyn Harris, Kenny White, Larry White; her grandchildren, Chris Fleeger, Monica Myers, James Fleeger, Billy Harper, Nofel Harper III, Brandon Harper, John Allen Malcolm; and several great grandchildren. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Edward Malcolm, son, John Edward Malcolm, two sisters, Lucille Scott and Patty White and two brothers, John and Ray White.Friends may visit with Sarah's family from 10:00 am until noon on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes. A graveside service to celebrate Sarah's life will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 919 Willow St., Vincennes with Pastor Erwin Bales officiating.
