Scott Dierdorf

Scott B. Dierdorf, 38, of Bloomfield, IN, passed away August 7, 2013, at Greene County Hospital.Scott was a Youth Care Specialist with Open Arms Christian Ministries. He was a member of White River Baptist Church in Bloomfield, IN, and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Vincennes, IN.Born December 20, 1974, in Madison, IN, he was the son of Richard and Nona (Tindal) Dierdorf. They survive, and live in Brazil, IN. Also surviving is his wife, Marcie (Eddleman) Dierdorf of Bloomfield, IN; his children at home, Jaylen Scott Dierdorf (age 9), Isabella Grace Dierdorf (age 1) and a daughter on the way; his sisters, Mary Kern of Indianapolis, IN and Kimberly Hawkins of Muncie, IN; brothers, Robert Dierdorf of Brazil, IN, and Michael Dierdorf; his in-laws, Louie and Debbie Eddleman of Vincennes; and grandparents, Dorothy Eddleman and Nelda Eaden; and several nieces and nephews.Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 - 2:00 on Saturday, at the Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 at the funeral home. Committal services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Open Arms Christian Ministries for the Scott Dierdorf Fund.
