Scott Ping

Scott W. Ping, 62, of Owensville, IN went to be with the Lord October 22, 2018. He was born August 4, 1956 to Bill Ping and Mary Beth Ping in Terra Haute, IN. Scott will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed building house and was a craftsman at woodworking. Scott's main hobby was enjoying the open road on his Harley Davidson. He was employed at Snap on Tools for 19 years before becoming a nurse. Scott began his nursing career in 1999 with Deaconess Hospital for 19 years. He was also an Elder at New Life House of Prayer in Haubstadt, IN. Survived by his wife, of 41 years, Patricia Ping; children Zebulon (Laura) Ping, Adam (Lindsay) Ping; grandchildren Corbin, Maren, Kennedy, Asher, and Israel Ping; father Bill Ping; siblings Barry Ping, Beth Spielman, Susan Raney, and Carla Garrett; and many nephews and nieces. Scott was preceded in death by his mother Mary Beth Ping and sister Bonnie John. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Ping. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Holders Funeral Home from 2pm- 6pm with Memorial Service at 6pm. Their will be a meal for friends and family at Owensville United Methodist Church on November 10, 2018 at 12pm.
