Sharon Williams

Sharon Williams, 80, of Washington, passed away at 1:35 am Thursday, October 29, 2020 at her residence.She was born December 15, 1939 in Pike County, Indiana to Marvie and Sylvia (Scraper) Davis.Sharon worked for 20 plus years as the Office Manager for H&R Block and was a long-time attender of the Petersburg Nazarene Church. An avid reader, Sharon loved to travel and enjoyed her Diet Cokes from McDonalds.Surviving are a daughter Betty Beck and her husband Jeff of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; her son Claude Williams Jr. and his wife Corinna of Washington, Indiana; a brother Adrian Davis and his wife Sandy of Avon, Indiana; along with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Claude Williams Sr. in 2006; a sister Betty Roberts; and a grandson Andrew Williams.Public visitation will be from 2-5 pm Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington. Private family services and burial at Wheatland Cemetery will be Monday. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Petersburg Nazarene Church.
