Sharron Meyer

Sharron Sue Meyer, 71, of 9492 E. Woodland Road, Monroe City, passed away at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana on January 17, 2013. Sue was born on August 9, 1941, the daughter of Charles and Madge (Harrell) Cates. She married William Bill Meyer on June 23, 1962.Sue was a member of the Monroe City First Church of God and enjoyed cooking. She had been an Administrative Assistant for First United Methodist Church retiring in 2012. Survivors include her husband, William Bill Meyer of Monroe City, daughter, Julia Ketchem and her husband Mike of Monroe City, sister, Phyllis Holman of Wheatland and two grandchildren Thomas and Anthony Ketchem.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Monroe City First Church of God with the Rev. Mark Nielson officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with Sues family on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home.
