Sheila Pierce

S. Shereen Pierce, 63, of Washington, IN, passed away June 24, 2021, at Daviess Community Hospital. Shereen was a 1976 graduate of Washington High School. She worked at Hamilton Glass, and then worked as a teacher's aide at North Knox West Elementary School. Shereen retired from Henderson Transfer Co. She was a member of the former Otterbein EUB Church. Surviving is her son, Hunter Pierce, of Laurel, MD; her sister, Lanette Gray and her husband, Larry, of Washington, IN; her nieces, Larryn Gray, Danielle Bowling, and Eryn Gray; her nephew, Larry Gray, Jr; and her brothers-in-law, Charlie Pierce and John Pierce. Born January 11, 1958, in Washington, IN, she was the daughter of Oral and Nellie (Newton) Edwards. Her parents, and her husband, Jeff Pierce, preceded her. Friends may visit with Shereen's family from 4:00 - 7:00 on Tuesday, at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington, IN.
