Shirley Lane

Shirley E. Lane, 85, of Terre Haute, formerly of Vincennes, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Westridge Nursing Home in Terre Haute.She was born May 9, 1935 in Monroe City, Indiana to Ellsworth and Gwendolyn (Harris) Hoffman.Shirley worked as a CNA at Crestview Nursing Home for many years, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 50 plus years, and enjoyed playing bingo.Surviving are her children Michelle Horn and her husband Jay of Terre Haute, and Darren Lane of Vincennes; her siblings Jerry Hoffman and his wife Brenda of Freelandville, Jana Almy and her husband Bill of Vincennes, and Joyce Harris of Vincennes; and her grandchildren Alexis Lane Musgrove and Colton Childress.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wesley Lane; a son Mike Lane; and brothers Roger and Larry Hoffman.Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, December 14, 2020 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home Gardner Brockman Chapel.
