Shirley Summers

Shirley J. Summers, 84, of Vincennes, IN, passed away July 15, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospital. A 1955 graduate of Lincoln High School, Shirley was a teacher's aide at Clark Middle School. She was a member of the First Church of God, where she sang in the choir. Surviving is her daughter, Ronda J. Summers of Vincennes, IN; her good friend, Judy Davison of Vincennes, IN; and her caretakers, Debbie Allen of Vincennes, IN and Carol Luenebrink, of Monroe City, IN. Born October 29, 1936, in Knox County, IN, she was the daughter of Bernard Cleveland and Ethel (Wesley) Fox. Her parents; her husband, Donald G. Summers, who passed away November 25, 2019; and her brother preceded her. Services will be private. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
