Stacey Douglas Houck, 47, of Newburgh, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Deaconess Gateway. He was born January 2, 1964, in Vincennes, IN. Stacey attended both St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and St. Benedict Cathedral. He graduated from Vincennes Lincoln High School in 1982, Vincennes University in 1984, and the University of Southern Indiana in 1998. He is a member of the Sons of the American Legion. Stacey was both an information technologist and production planner for Alcoa for 13 years. He loved gardening and woodworking. Stacey also served as an assistant and head coach for both of his son's youth sports teams. He also loved watching his beloved Colts and NASCAR on Sunday afternoons. Stacey is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sherry Reilly Houck of Newburgh; son, Dylan Houck and wife Brittany of Columbus and son, Andrew Houck of Indianapolis, IN; parents, Violet and Ted Houck; parents-in-law, Bob and Donna Glenn; brother, Ronald Houck (Cindy); brother Gary Houck (Janet), and brother, Jeff Houck (Cathy), all of Vincennes, IN; brother-in-law, Rich Reilly (Monica) of Carmel, IN; and brother-in-law, Phil Reilly (Allison) of Lorton, VA; eleven nieces and nephews. Friends may visit Friday, September 2, 2011, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, CST at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN, and Saturday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, EDST at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway Street, Vincennes, IN, followed by graveside services at Memorial Park Cemetery, Vincennes.
