Stanley Bilyard

Stanley "Stan the Man" Bilyard, 78, passed away at 8:10 pm on December 20, 2020 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. Stanley was born on March 14, 1942 in Washington, DC the son of Charles and Madeline (Fritter) Bilyard. He married Virginia Imogene Cockrum and she survives.Stan worked for the Fairfax County School District in the maintenance department and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. After his retirement he enjoyed traveling from state to state with his wife going to several National Parks hiking. He also enjoyed spending winters in Florida, pulling pranks and living life on his own terms.Survivors include his wife, Imogene Bilyard; his children, Carla Love, Brandon Bilyard, Robbie Newsom, Terri Rollins, Karla Lewis, Mary Jo Myers; sister, Shirley Byers; eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Stan was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wayne Bilyard, and son, John David Newsom.Stan will be cremated and his family will have a memorial service at a later date.
