Stephen Williams

Stephen W. Williams, 63, of 1307 Busseron Street, passed away at 1:20 CST on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Stephen was born on March 25, 1949 in Knox County the son of Charles and Jessie M. (Catt) Williams. He married Barbara Seals on October 19, 1975 and she survives. Stephen had worked at Cardinal Liquor Store as a sales clerk and most recently at Center Hardware and WBM as a sales clerk. He loved old cars, china and the finer things in life. He also enjoyed going to auctions. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Williams of Vincennes; son, Christopher N. Williams and his wife Connie of Vincennes; daughter, Arlyna Wininger and her husband Raymond J. of Vincennes; grandchildren, Quinlan Stephen Williams, Liam Bryton Wininger; sisters, Kay Williams of Winslow, IN; and Sharon Wilkes of Vincennes. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Juanita Ellerman and Margaret Black, two brothers, Charles and Roy Williams and an infant brother Ronald Eugene Williams. Funeral services for Stephen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
