Steven Carson

Steven A. Carson, 60, of 131 E. Reel Ave. Vincennes, passed away January 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Vincennes to Joseph & Mary (Ford) Carson on June 5, 1950.Steve enjoyed playing pool with his friends and in his younger days, playing softball. He also loved to play jokes on his family and friends.Surviving is a daughter, Dianna (William) White of Decker, a son, Steven (Robin) Carson of Indianapolis, a sister, Shirley Shores of Vincennes, a brother, Paul Robert Carson of Geneva, NY, four grandchildren, Nathan White, Noah White, Dalton White, and Cynthia White. Also surviving is his father in-law, Clarence Devine of Vincennes, brother in-laws, Marvin Doane of Lawrenceville, Mike Devine of Vincennes, his second wife, Doris Carson, and several nieces and nephews.Preceding him in death were his parents, his first wife, Cynthia (Devine) Carson, sister, Rosella Doane, mother in-law Patricia Devine, sister in-law Mary Devine, brother in-law, Richard Shores, and a nephew, Michael Bass.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday January 6, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from one until service time.
