Steven Lee Cook, 54, of Vincennes, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born November 26, 1965 in Washington, Indiana to Herbert and Joyce (Funk) Cook.Steven was a very talented master carpenter and made many one-of-a-kind designs. His biggest source of pride was winning many local and national archery tournaments. One of his proudest achievements was when he taught his wife Cindy archery, and she held the title of 4th best female archer in the world. He also enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with Jeremy, Tyler, Zach, Jennie, and his dogs Rubee and Mr. Cheese who were his world and took them everywhere with him. Steven was baptized from the First Christian Church and was a 1984 graduate of South Knox High School.Surviving are his wife Cindy (Walters) Cook whom he married in 1988; his sisters Londa Theriac and her husband Nick of Vincennes, and Traci McCoy of Georgia; and a brother Wayne Cook of Tucson, Arizona; along with several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parentsSteven's wishes were to be cremated and there will be a celebration of life held in his honor at a later time.
