Steven E Reel

Steven E. Reel, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on May 27, 1942, in Monroe City, IN, Steven was a devoted fan of IU basketball and the Boston Red Sox. Following his retirement from Johnson Controls, he found joy working at Bill Atkinson Trenching. His love for his family knew no bounds.

Steven will be dearly missed by his son, Stephen Reel (Lyn); daughter, Krista Reel Labhart (Steve); grandchildren, Lacie Ellerman and Nick Reel; great grandchildren, Jonna Myers, Jenessa Myers, Jersie Myers, Alexis Reel, Harper Reel, Claudia Labhart, and Nathaniel Labhart; brothers and sisters, Mona Wilson, Dan Reel, and Donna Sweeney. Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Blanche (Adams) Reel; sister, Sue Burnett; and infant baby brother.

A Graveside Service to honor and remember Steven's life will take place at Hamline Cemetery on June 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Pastor John Moreland will officiate.
