Sue Basinger, 72, of Vincennes, passed away at 3:30 pm on Wednesday July 27, 2016 at Gentle Care Nursing Home.She was born March 8, 1944 in Spencer County to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Shaw.Sue was a cook at various restaurants and loved collecting Avon and cutting coupons.Surviving are her children, Tom Basinger of Vincennes, Yvonne Correvont Basinger of SanDiego, Robert Basinger of Evansville, and Joe Basinger of Evansville; her brothers, Wally, Michael, Carl, and Butch; along with her grandchildren, Mia Correvont and one grandson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and two sisters, Paula and Joyce.A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
