Sue Ellen Fox

Sue Ellen Fox, aged 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 11th, 2024 at Daviess Community Hospital. Sue was born on January 10th, 1951 to Harold and Elsie Fox of Wheatland, Indiana. She had retired from Niehaus Lumber in Vincennes, Indiana after years of dedicated service, and had been previously been employed through Palmer Electric and Hoosier Magnetics in Washington, Indiana where she was known for being reliable and hard-working.

Sue enjoyed watching sports, but among her favorites were the Purdue Boilermakers and the Washington Redskins. Home-cooked meals and baked goods like her Easter "rabbit cake" were small ways that she cared for her family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play in various sports and school programs.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Harold Sr. and Elsie Fox, and her granddaughters Alisha and Alexis Fox. She is survived by her brother Harold Jr. Fox, her sister Deanna Fox, her son Richard Fox, grandsons Austin and Cain Fox, granddaughter Miranda Schisel, and three great-grandchildren Mya, Luna, and Jackson. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be private, but any and all donations toward her burial can be sent to her grandson Austin at 3124 South Hart Street Road, Vincennes, Indiana 47591. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Sue.
