Sue Petelle

Sue L. (Eddleman) Petelle, 61, passed away at 5:45 am on December 31, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Sue was born on January 17, 1958 in Vincennes the daughter of Cleo and Dorothy (Longest) Eddleman. She married Christopher Eugene Petelle on January 17, 1984.Sue was a member of Community United Methodist Church and worked as head teacher in the infant room at the YMCA daycare. She enjoyed word search puzzles, crafts and playing hand and foot card game with her family.Survivors include her husband, Christopher Petelle of Vincennes; daughter, Lauressa Smerdel and her husband Gregory of Vincennes; mother, Dorothy Eddleman of Vincennes; sister, Debbie Cox of French Lick, IN; brothers, Louie Eddleman of Vincennes and Rusty Eddleman and his wife Pam of Vincennes. Sue was preceded in death by her father Cleo Eddleman.Friends may visit with Sue's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Community United Methodist Church, 1548 S. Hart Street, Vincennes, IN 47591 with Rex Seitzinger officiating. Sue will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery and Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home is honored to assist the Petelle family with arrangements.
