Suzan Hulting

April 14, 1947 — April 17, 2021

Suzan Grace (Fulscher) Melton Hulting, 74, passed away at 2:10 pm on April 17, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Suzan was born on April 14, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Donald and Grace (Hillock) Fulscher. She married Steven J. Hulting and they were married for thirty-five years.Suzan went to Moline High School in the Quad Cities and received her degree in culinary arts at Blackhawk College. She worked at Westport Inn for twenty-six years. She loved bingo and reading, and opened her doors to anyone in need. She had many honorary children, and most of all loved her dog Beaner.Survivors include her husband, Steven Hulting; her children who she loved very much, David, Karen, Kristy, and Rick Melton and his wife Megan; her grandchildren, Maegan Melton, Priscylla Melton, Andrew Watts, Ramon Jr. (R.J.) Melton III, Stephen Melton, Garrett Melton, Ashley Meyers, Patrick Baracani, Jr., Vincent Baracani, Donovan Melton, Noah Leach, Emylee Melton; great grandchildren, Amiya, Ava, and Evan, siblings, Donald Fulscher, Danny Fulscher, Janice Gilmore, Kathy Simmons, Gerald and Patsy Fulscher, Nancy and Pat Moody, Mary Jo and Kerry Pisman all of the Quad Cities, as well as many nieces and nephews. Suzan was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Donald Leroy Fulscher, her first husband, Ramon Jr. Melton, son, Ramon Jr. (Ray) Melton II, sister, Beth Ann Steele, brother, Ted Fulscher, and nephew Teddy.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Trevor Murry officiating.
