Suzanne R. Elliott

Suzanne R. Elliott, a devoted and compassionate Registered Nurse, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024, at The Wyndmoor Assisted Living in Evansville, Indiana. Born on May 22, 1945, in Petersburg, IN she is the daughter of John and Evelyn Fern (Anderson) Sutton.


Suzanne dedicated her life to providing care and comfort to those in need. Her educational achievements included earning a bachelor's degree in nursing and further pursuing a master's degree in the field. Throughout her career in the healthcare industry, Suzanne wholeheartedly served the Vincennes community, utilizing her knowledge and expertise to enhance the well-being of others. Beyond her professional endeavors, Suzanne found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing the company of her friends, the companionship of her beloved dogs, and the occasional retail therapy session.


Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, Brad Elliott and his wife Leah of Evansville, IN and her two grandchildren, Ike and Millie Elliott: her sister, Norma Jean Russell and her husband Tom of Springfield, OH, niece and nephews. Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Sutton.


Friends may visit with Suzanne's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591. Pastor Trevor Murry will officiate, and Suzanne will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN.
