Tamara Scott

Tamara Jo Scott, 69, of Owensville, IN passed suddenly in Evansville April 25, 2019. She was born March 20, 1950 in Evansville, IN to the late Paul Ewing and Mary Alice (Carrell) Scott. She grew up on a farm in Owensville, with her parents and three siblings. Tammy was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1968. She attended college at Indiana University where she earned her degree in Sociology. She had three grandsons and a dog named Sonjie she adored deeply. Tammy loved to read, see the latest movies, and have lunch with the high school friend crew. She was a fiercely loved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. Tammy has touched so many lives and will be remembered for her cheerful, vibrant personality, and ability to find the humor in any situation. Her family and friends already miss her dearly. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Scott Kolb. She is survived by her children Laura (Tres) Watson and John (Angel) Waters; grandchildren Finn, Keegan, and Kepler; and siblings Jane (John) Braselton and Phil (Marla) Scott. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Scott. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Holders Funeral Home from 1p-4p. Funeral will be 1pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Benson Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Evansville Humane Society
