Ted Frederick

Ted A. Frederick, Sr., 63, of Vincennes, passed away May 7, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Ted was a salesman at Best Buy Furniture. Prior to that, he had been a manager and designer at Jewels Flowers. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, he also belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Eagles Lodge, the Harmony Society, and the Moose. Ted was a diehard Lincoln Alices fan, and enjoyed IU sports.Born May 4, 1953, in Corydon, IN, he was the son of George and Mabel (Pepper) Frederick. His parents; his brother, Bob Frederick; and a nephew, Kevin Frederick preceded him.Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Pam (Tolliver) Frederick; his children, T.J. Frederick of Vincennes, Katie Frederick-Kearns and her husband, Josh, stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Hannah Frederick of Evansville, IN, and Emily Frederick of Vincennes, IN; sisters, Jean Smith of Louisville, KY and Deanna Frederick of Clarksville, IN; and his grandchildren, Penelope, Beatrice, and Atticus Kearns.Friends may visit with Ted's family from 4:00 - 8:00 on Wednesday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, at 11:00, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vincennes Athletic Booster Club. Also, four children that are very special in their own way. That I brag about all the time to anyone that will listen. I could not have picked better children if I had tried. They will never know how much they mean to me. If I would go tomorrow, I would not ask God for anything, because he has gave me my precious gift, "My Family".
