Terry Martin

Terry G. Martin, 66, of 8524 S. Petersburg Road, Monroe City, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born May 15, 1947 in Petersburg to William Terrell and Virginia (Blackburn) Martin.Terry was owner of Martin's used cars and enjoyed rebuilding street rods. His memberships included the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, Hoosier Cruisers, Masonic Lodge Pike #121, Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine, Oddfellows, and was secretary of the Harrison Township Advisory Board.Surviving is his wife, Sharon (Goldman) Martin, whom he married on July 23, 1966; his father, William Martin of Monroe City; his sons, Chris (Toni) Martin and Cory (Becki) Martin, both of Monroe City; his grandchildren, Brian, Caleb, and Shelby Martin; his sister, Ginger (Richard) Wilson of Monroe City, and his niece, Katie Jo Watts.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda Wick officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 Tuesday at the funeral home.
