Terry Quackenbush

Terry L. Quackenbush, 74, of Jasper, IN passed away December 29, 2022. She was born in Washington, IN on November 10, 1948, to the late Gerald I. Sturgeon and Virginia Ruth (Stone) Sturgeon. Terry attended Washington High School. She was a former member of the TOPS Group and Grace Baptist Church. Terry worked for 20+ years at Masterbrand Cabinets and 6 years at Walmart. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to George Strait, watching Days of our Lives, walking, shopping, cooking, reading, collecting windchimes, crocheting, and spending time with animals. Terry will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughters Melissa Alford and Sherri Chambers, and brother Larry Sturgeon. Terry is survived by her daughters Karen (Ryan) Lee, and Christina (William) Jaceczko; grandchildren Thomas Waltz, Cecilia Spainhour, Aaron Houchin, Terry Houchin, Brandon Houchin, Jasmine Houchin, Justin Gunn, Olivia Alford; siblings Mary Jones and Gerald Sturgeon Jr.; 8 great-grandchildren; and ex-husband Ron Quackenbush. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Ms. Quackenbush. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 2020 State St. Washington, IN from 12-1pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 1pm. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Reeve Township in Washington, IN at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Goodwin-Sievers funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
