Terry Reel

Terry Reel, 81, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Terry was born on May 9, 1942, and was the son of Arthur and Norma (Burkhart) Reel. Terry was retired from Superior Essex. He had served our country as a cook for 6 years in the United States Army and was proud to be an American. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts play. He also loved to tend to the flowers he grew with his wife, Dava. Surviving Terry is his loving wife, Dava (West) Reel; son, Travis Reel; brother, Bruce Reel; sisters, Cindy Russell and Sandy Sears; and cousins, Max Page and Della Davis. Preceding Terry in death are his parents, Arthur and Norma Reel; and brother, Kent Cogswell. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Trevor Murry will be officiating. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Terry.
