Thelma Furman

Thelma Frances Thurman, 88, of Vincennes, passed away Nov. 23, 2012, at Bridgepointe Health Campus. Born Oct. 8, 1924, in Pike County, IN, she was the daughter of Beuford and Ada (Robling) Lamb. They preceded her, as well as a brother, Bill Lamb, and a grandson, Scott Holman. Thelma had worked at Meade Johnson in Evansville. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Petersburg. Surviving are her children, Larry (Diana) Willis of Verne, IN, Sharon (Barry) Holman of Monroe City, IN, and Brenda Bennett of Evansville, IN; a sister, Helen Pickett of Brownsbug, IN; a brother, Jim Lamb of Petersburg, IN; grandchildren Greg Willis, Becky Clinkenbeard, Laura Weinhold, Leah Bilskie, Scott Holman, Chad Holman, Jason Holman, Brian Miller, Gina O'Bradovich, and Mitsi Bennett; great-grandchildren Remi, Sydney, Teddi, Zoey, Charlee, Lila, Alec, Jessica, Justin, Jake, Jennifer, Jarrod, Jacy, Jayton, Robbie, Cady, Emily, Alec, Piper, Ty, Joel, Travis, and a great-granddaughter due in December. A graveside service will be held on Monday, at 2:30, at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Goodwin Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
