Thelma Roark

Thelma Pauline Roark, 99 of Vincennes, passed away at 3:11 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born February 1, 1915 in Monroe City to Charles and Emma (Coonce) Reel.Thelma was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She had attended the Hamline Chapel United Methodist Church and the Monroe City Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed painting, knitting, and pottery.Surviving is her son, Paul Roark of Sumner; a daughter, Patricia Hawkins of Shoals; her grandchildren, Tim Roark, Troy (Lori) Roark, and Micah Hawkins; her great grandchildren, Justin Roark, Courtney Roark, Ryan Roark, and Rachel (Harley) Nippe; and her great great grandchild, Madden.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Frank Roark whom preceded her in 1986; her daughter in law, Donna Roark; and her two brothers, Bob and Paul Reel.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 16th, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev.
