Thelma Wilson

Thelma R. (Knoblett) Wilson, 86, of Vincennes, passed away at 5:40 pm Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Willow Manor Rehab.She was born July 14, 1932 in Knox County, Indiana, to Orvie and Lula (Walton) Knoblett.Thelma worked at Perdue Foods for 35 years and the Coin Center Laundry for 13 years. A member of the Beal Pentecostal Church, she enjoyed her family, especially her great grandsons, an enjoyed listening to Gospel Music.Surviving are her daughters, Pam Claycomb and her husband Tom of Indianapolis, Anita Hacker and her husband Tim of Vincennes, Sandy LaMarche and her husband Tim of Vincennes; six grandchildren, Kelly Jones and her husband Andrew of Brooklyn, NY, Colin Claycomb of Indianapolis; Melissa Claycomb of Indianapolis, Andrew Hacker of Louisville, KY, Leigh Ann Singleton and her husband Tyler of Vincennes, Katie Montcalm and her husband Mick of Vincennes; and two great grandchildren, Eli Singleton and Jack Montcalm.Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wilson, whom she married on February 6, 1954 and passed on January 9, 1992; her parents, Orvie and Lula (Walton) Knoblett; and six sisters, Violet Lucas, Edna Pittman, Lois McColpin, Mary McColpin, Phyllis Struble, and her very dear and loving twin sister, Wilma Raney.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Beal Pentecostal Church.
