Theresa (Mccullough) White

Theresa (McCullough) White was born to proud parents John and Zella McCullough in Vincennes, IN on March 14, 1947. Theresa was welcomed by two older sisters, Mary, and Joan. Theresa thrived in school, graduating from St. Rose Academy in 1965 before later pursuing her nursing career at Vincennes University to become an LPN.

Theresa raised three sons, John, Roland, and David, often working hard as a single mother. She met husband Robin White while working in Indianapolis and he was on a business trip from England. Theresa and Robin moved together to England, where the couple shared a love of golf, sailing, and travel.

Every spring Theresa and Robin journeyed back to the US to visit Theresa’s family until age and health prevented easy travel. On their annual visits, they spent several weeks visiting with her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, golfing in Indy at their favorite course Cool Lake, and dining at Texas Roadhouse, one of their favorite American restaurants.

Theresa was proudest of her family, sharing about her sons and grandkids with friends in England and later on Facebook. Theresa is survived by her husband Robin, stepson and stepdaughter, sisters Mary Martin and Joan McMillen, daughters-in-law and her sons John, Roland, and David, her grandchildren Ashley and Brittany, Vanessa and Mason, Derek and Grant, and Ryan and Gavin, as well as many great grandchildren.

A committal service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, S. 6th Street Road in Vincennes. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Theresa and her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
