Thomas E. Alexander, 65, of 1407 Dubois, Vincennes, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at his home. He was born January 22, 1945 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana to Elbert & Mary Jane (McClellan) Alexander.Tom retired as a truck driver driving mostly for his self. He was a member of the Grace Like Rain Worship Center and enjoyed riding motorcycles. A craftsman, he enjoyed building things and served his country in the Army.Surviving is his wife, Charla Foster Alexander, his children; Letty (Richard) McDonald of Vincennes, Thomas E. (Debi) Alexander II of Boonville, Maryanne Chastain of Kingsport, TN, Amy Landis (fianc Nate Swartz) of Port Tuezorton, PA, April (Steve) Fox of Shelburn, IN, Anthem (Suzanne) Alexander of Mesquite, TX, a life-long friend, Carol Folsom, 35 grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are his stepchildren Chris Burchell of Washington, Melissa (Robert) Carpenter of Vincennes, Amy (Jody) Keller of Wheatland, Tina (Mark) Patterson of Freelandville and Angela Helderman of Vincennes, brothers; Rodger Clark of Washington, Larry Clark of Huntingburg, John Alexander of Shelbyville, sisters; Reda (Jim) Austin of Huntingburg, Donna Jenne of Washington, and Kay Mount of Shelbyville, a stepson, Eric Folson, stepdaughters, Michelle Corbitt, Rachel Morris, Kim Folson, several nieces and nephews, and the K-nine friend, Angel.Graveside services will be held 2:15 p.m. Tuesday July 12, 2011 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Raja Hollifield officiating.
