Timothy "Tim" Emmons

Timothy "Tim" Emmons, 68, of Wheatland, IN passed away March 15, 2025. He was born in Vincennes, IN on July 30, 1956, to the late Glenn and Peggy (Dukes) Emmons. He graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1974 and continued his education with Oakland City University where he received his associate's degree. Tim worked both as an electrician and a coal miner for all his life. He was a proud chairman of State Mining Board since 1985 and former member of the Indiana State Mine Rescue Team. Tim loved teaching electric maintenance to future electricians. He married Kathleen Emmons on March 3, 2012.

In Tim's free time he enjoyed skydiving, flying, fishing, riding his Harley, spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Angus. He will be deeply missed by all.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Peggy Emmons.

He is survived by wife Kathleen Emmons; children Erica (Sean) Robbins, Brock (Heather) Emmons, Aaron (Lindsay) Emmons, Justin Emmons; stepchildren Kristina Francis and Jason (Emily Cessna) Voegeli; grandchildren Luke (CJ) Robbins, Brant Robbins, Braya Robbins, Taylor (Ben) Taylor, Tyler Emmons, Bryson Emmons, Briggs Emmons, Brody Emmons, Taelon Emmons; step grandchildren Brody and Kadin Francis; siblings Becky (Joe) Miller, Kevin (Nancy) Emmons, Brian (Alice) Emmons; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Tim. Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 from 3-8 pm and Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10 am to service time. The Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11 am with cremation to follow.
